Camera-Ready Van: A Step-by-Step Guide to Modular Storage Cabinet Construction

This video will teach you how to build a camera storage cabinet for a DIY camper van conversion with one drawer, one shelf, a built-in USB charging block, a 120V outlet, and under cabinet lighting. We use a lot of camera gear and wanted the option to bring all of our gear on the road when we take the van on trips. We wanted to make sure we could charge all of our small lights, camera batteries, gimbal, and mics. With this in mind, we made sure to make an organized charging station with a USB hub inside one of the drawers to minimize the mess of wires. Instead of building multiple drawers, we decided to build a drawer with two shelves in our camper van. These shelves are perfect for sliding our packing cubes in and out, and we used a bungee cord to prevent anything from sliding out while driving the van. This camera storage cabinet build was the perfect solution for all our gear and can be modified for other uses down the line.
